CONSULTANCY CALL: Develop Case Study

Our member, Self Help Africa (SHA) urgently seeks to recruit the services of a consultant to develop a case study on the Elum Centre Model in Kapelebyong and Adjumani Districts.

SHA is a core member of The Gorta Group which is composed of a group of innovative organisations driving sustainable economic and social change across Africa. Comprising Self Help Africa, United Purpose, Partner Africa and TruTrade, the Gorta Group combines expertise in market-based solutions to poverty and rural development; climate change mitigation and resilience; trade facilitation, and farmer and worker rights; underpinned by an inclusive ethos that specifically targets women and youth.

Self Help Africa Uganda urgently seeks to recruit a suitable Consultant to fill the following position: Consultant to develop a case study on the Elum Centre Model in Kapelebyong and Adjumani Districts

The consultant will highlight best approaches, best practices, achievements, and real impacts of the Elum Centre model class.

Key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Write a detailed plan for developing the case study.
  • Highlight the path moved by farmers from home production to production for market.
  • Highlight the adoption milestones of the ELUM Centre practices with women, young people at the centre of the household change.
  • Presentation of the case study on the Elum Centre model in Kapelebyong and Adjumani Districts to the relevant stakeholders.
