As a sector that aspires to be transparent and publicly accountable, we are actively listening and documenting the numerous concerns that are being raised online.
We shall, after the NGO Exhibition is completed as per the timelines of the organisers, collate all the feedback, and commit to collectively discuss and address the concerns. We shall walk together as NGO leaders to improve this important sector in our country.
It is imperative to underscore that the NGO Sector in Uganda contributes significantly to the development and social wellbeing of Ugandans through complementing government service delivery and holding the state accountable. We would, therefore, like to reiterate our commitment to this purpose as we build a peaceful and prosperous Uganda with happy people.
