CSO Statement on Need for Comprehensive Electoral Reforms before 2016 General Elections – August 2015
On Monday 17th August 2015, a cross section of CSO leaders held a press conference at Uganda National NGO Forum on the need for comprehensive electoral reforms before the next General elections.
The briefing cited Government’s refusal to listen to citizen voices on electoral reforms like detailed in proposals from entities like CCEDU, IPOD, the Electoral Commission itself and even the most recently developed Citizen’s Compact on Free and Fair Elections.
