Social Accountability BI-Annual Learning Event: Building a Strong Social Accountability Ecosystem
Civil society organizations (CSOs) in Uganda are working with government and other development partners to advance continued learning and reflection for more versatile approaches geared towards citizen led accountability. In 2010, the Uganda National NGO Forum (UNNGOF)1 spearheaded establishment of Social Accountability Platform, through which partners come together to leverage resources, lessons, and expertise to shape accountability processes. A major activity of the Social Accountability Platform is Bi-Annual learning events through which partners share updates, lessons and reflect on political and socioeconomic contextual dynamics for future engagements.
