Vijana Corps launches its 2021-2026 Strategic Plan.
“To engender a culture that empowers and creates room for active participation of youth in order to achieve social justice and equitable development in Uganda.”
Established in 2013, Vijana Corps is a Ugandan-based, youth-focused organization working to achieve the above mission and realize an enlightened, empowered, and productive youth.
Her intervention hinges on three pillars; Digital and media literacy, Livelihood and entrepreneurship development, and Participatory Leadership for youth.
Vijana Corps (a member of UNNGOF) creates supportive platforms that give youth a face and a voice in the struggle for social justice and a holistic citizenry through increasing access to relevant and timely information. We believe that achieving social justice and equitable development in Uganda can and should be facilitated by a process that gives the youth access to information and a platform for free expression, equips them with skills and resources for economic empowerment; and puts them at the forefront of participatory leadership and accountability processes at all levels.
This is therefore to share with you their strategic plan 2021 – 2016. To download a copy of Vijana Corps Strategic Plan, please click here
