Ruth Namara is a seasoned Communications Specialist with 10 years of experience in advocacy and social impact communications. She is the Senior Associate- Communications for the Uganda National NGO Forum. Ruth has a proven track record in website development, email marketing, social media management, and crafting effective advocacy strategies. Her work has predominantly focused on promoting the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She has supported the communications portfolio and collaborated with prestigious organizations such as UNICEF, the Moving Minds Alliance, Unbounded Associates, USAID, Theirworld, The Education Commission, VVOB, UNESCO, Right to Play International, Sesame Workshop, LEGO Foundation, and ECD Measure at the global level, as well as the African Union, regional and national civil society organizations, including the Africa Freedom for Information Centre, Alliance for Finance Monitoring, and national governments, implementing projects across 23 African countries.

Ruth’s areas of expertise include Strategic Communications, Stakeholder Management, Research, and Multi-media Communications. Her sector experience spans Governance and Human Rights, Health, Education, and Climate Change. Her commitment to advocacy and communications is marked by her enthusiasm for team success, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.
